IMPACT MEASUREMENT SYSTEM

At CO.STARTERS, we understand the importance of tracking measurable outcomes to gauge success. For this reason, we have created an impact measurement system that will help all of us better understand the effectiveness of our collective work. It consists of several parts.

Pre-Program Surveys

Participant Pre-Program Survey

The Participant Pre-Program Survey is designed to collect baseline information on the participant and the participant’s venture so that we measure progress over the nine weeks, as well as the subsequent three years.

The Pre-Program Survey asks for the following information. Any information previously submitted in the application will be pre-populated.

  • Contact information (name, address, email, phone)
  • Basic venture information (venture type, name, description, stage, time in business, industry, geographic focus, support needs)
  • Detailed venture information (working within venture, sales, capital, employees, past ventures)
  • Knowledge, Confidence, and Connectedness
  • Program Expectations

COMING SOON! Facilitator Pre-Program Survey

The Facilitator Pre-Program Survey is designed to collect baseline information on the facilitator, as well as their expectations going into the program. The survey asks for the following information:

  • Contact information (name, zip, email, phone)
  • Demographic information (sex, race, age, education, employment)
  • Expectations

Weekly Session Evaluations

Participant Session Evaluations

The Participant Session Evaluations are sent out weekly to assess the degree to which the program is helping participants, the quality of facilitation, and to collect feedback on the program content itself.

Facilitator Session Evaluations

The Facilitator Session Evaluations are sent out weekly to assess the degree to which the program is working from the facilitator’s perspective. It asks for feedback on the speaker, perceived value to participants, group dynamics, and quality of facilitation.

Post-Program Surveys

The Participant Post-Program Survey is designed to measure the impact the program has had on the participant over the nine weeks. It asks for the following information:

  • Venture status
  • If CO.STARTERS experience helped with the decision of what to do next
  • Detailed venture information (working within venture, sales, capital, employees, past ventures)
  • Knowledge, Confidence, and Connectedness
  • Additional support needed
  • Satisfaction with CO.STARTERS experience
  • Feedback on Facilitator

The Participant Post-Program Survey is designed to measure the perceived effectiveness of the program over the nine weeks. It asks for feedback on the following information:

  • Participant engagement & interactions
  • Logistics
  • Lessons learned
  • Expectations met
  • Satisfaction with CO.STARTERS experience
  • Suggestions for improvement

Participant Annual Surveys

Once a year for three years, we will follow-up with program graduates to see how their ventures are progressing through Participant Annual Surveys.

Reports

Cohort Report

At the completion of each cohort, you will receive a report telling you how that cohort performed.

Annual Organization Report

At the close of each calendar year, you will receive a report telling you how your organization performed over the past year.

CO.STARTERS Annual Report

At the close of each calendar year, you will receive a report outlining how the CO.STARTERS Community as a whole performed over the past year.
