We always encourage them to go ahead and join, but also let them know that how some of the financials are presented will need adaptation to a nonprofit context (there are some resources on nonprofits in the Participant Resources Center and CO.STARTERS+ Community Platform). However, about 80 percent of the material applies perfectly and it will definitely be beneficial to join. If your cohort is predominantly nonprofit ventures, we recommend building in another session or two to cover the nuances of setting up a nonprofit in your state.
